Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Diversity Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
